REFPROP

REFPROP is an acronym for REFerence fluid PROPerties. This program, developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), calculates the thermodynamic and transport properties of industrially important fluids and their mixtures. REFPROP is based on the most accurate pure fluid and mixture models currently available.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) uses its best efforts to deliver a high quality copy of the Database and to verify that the data contained therein have been selected on the basis of sound scientific judgment. In addition, the original source of REFPROP has been modified to suit the JSteam Excel package. Therefore the accuracy of the REFPROP package supplied with this software is not guaranteed to match that obtained using an original copy of REFPROP.
